This publication has been written to help busy early years practitioners bring additional engagement and excitement to their programme of work for phonics. It can be used in conjunction with other phonic programmes including the ‘Progression in Phonics’. The activities revolve around a mischievous crow called CRISPIN, a puppet that is easy to manipulate and also extremely vocal!
Crispin can be purchased as an additional resource with this publication (see PAK-PHO), and by using some very simple story scenarios, he can be used to create an exciting context for a wide variety of phonic activities. Each activity is simple laid out and uses easily available resources.
Customer Feedback:
"We bought Crispin, and the 'Helping Young Children With Phonics' and 'Helping Young Children With Numercay' books. The children love him, he really keeps their attention."
