We all have the ability to think creatively, but the extent to which we do is probably highly dependent on our earliest experiences. With the right stimulus and support all children can learn in ways that enable them to solve problems, be inventive and make discoveries, but this doesn’t happen by osmosis. Children need to be presented with situations that fire their curiosity and promote wonder and puzzlement, and that is the purpose of this book.
